15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Luke 1:34-38 (KJV)
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Every seed has two parts that are needed to grow. Every seed must be fertilized to become living, a reality or to have substance. God created man to have the authority to rule, lead be in charge. Man gave up that gift from God. He gave it to Satan and Satan became His father. Kind produces after kind. When he had eaten of the tree he no longer was in the image of God, but Satan, except by faith. Mary comes along and combines God’s word with faith. She conceives of the Holy Spirit. If only we all would do likewise. As a result of her faith Jesus is born. A new seed that would take away the sins of men, so we might be born again and be in the image of God. That is why God must breathe His Holy Spirit into us also. So we might be like Him and go and do likewise. Conceive God’s word, believe on it, get into agreement with the Holy Spirit, let it grow, and God will see to it it does not return to him void. Jesus did not return to Him void but achieved the purpose for which He sent Him. Go do likewise.

Mark 4:30-31 (KJV)
30 And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? 31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Mark 4:9-20 (KJV)9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. 13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? 14 The sower soweth the word. 15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. 16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; 17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended. 18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
The Kingdom is like a seed, but it is like the smallest or humblest of seeds. Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. Now pay attention to what Jesus said. “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.” One must hear the word for it to be planted. It is planted in the heart. Many get discouraged because the seed does not produce overnight. You plant a seed, water it, give it light, and wait for it to grow. When telling other about Jesus or praying for healing they expect instant results. It takes time but God said He will see to it that it will fulfill its potential.

Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Isaiah 55:8-12 (KJV) 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
God put the potential of overcoming Satan in the woman. It was passed from generation to generation. God planted a seed in the woman for us to overcome Satan and the curse. God gave us the seed potential to overcome in every area of our lives. Jesus was the seed and He is the word. The word planted will not return void but will go forth and fulfill its potential. God’s spoken word is planted in your heart to grow and overcome your situation. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word.

Genesis 1:11-12 (KJV)
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:25 (KJV)
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 2:8 (KJV)
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
Kind produces after kind is one of the first lessons God taught us. God puts the potential of kind in the seed. He planted the Garden of Eden. It did not simply appear. He put the potential of what He wanted in the seed and did not worry if would become that. He told it what it would become and it did. His word will not return void. Jesus over and over compared the Kingdom of God to seed. The seed principle is one of the most important principles in the Bible. It is what our salvation is based on.

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
How are your plans working out? God knows the plans He has for you, but do you? Seek Him and know. His ways are so much higher than ours. Now if God can give us immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, why not try His plans. You are not capable of thinking of such good gifts. Go to Him and seek Him and start His plan for your life today.
