Devo Seeking God part 3
Luke 18:22 (NIV)
22 When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Will you give all you have to know Him? What’s in your heart? Don’t deny the truth, just start seeking Him where you’re at and the desire to give all will come. My friends the more you know Him the more you will want Him.

Devo Seeking God part 2
Proverbs 4:7 (NIV)
7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Wisdom is Jesus. If you want the Father you must go through the son. If you want wisdom, Jesus the Word, pay the price. Jesus paid the price for our salvation, but he told the Apostles you must drink the cup I drink to have all of God. I find many won’t even read His word. Few people I meet have even read the Bible through let alone seek Him. Then they say they want Him, well how bad do you want the things of God? How bad do you want His will? How bad do you want souls? What will you pay for it? Will you tarry for one hour in prayer?

Devo Seeking God part 1
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
I have taught on this bit of scripture many times, but God began dealing with me on seeking Him. I have taught on being humble, praying and repenting, but now we will look at seeking. Seeking is a verb, an action. It means a desire to acquire, discover, search, request, go to, gain, inquirer, or look for something. It takes conscience effort to seek something out. It is more than looking for something it is the will to process it, to try to take ownership of something you desire. It is to pay a cost to get it. Finding the secrets of God cost something. If you truly want God you will give all you have to get Him. It takes more than humbling, praying, and repentance. You go after Him though it might cost you everything and then you will find Him. It is not just sitting on a pew listening to a sermon, it is so much more. It takes conscience effort and then he will be found by you. So get started.

Devo Seed time and Harvest Part 19
Matthew 13:23 (NIV)
23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundreds, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
I think sometimes we forget the power of multiplication. Don’t despise the days of small beginnings. I know most would equate this with money, but what about souls. It is about souls. Each generation of Christians should be multiplying itself. When working on the farm we had a plague hit the crops one year and almost wiping out this particular crop. We had to work extra hard that year trying to separate the diseased crop from the good. That year the crop did not multiply, but instead we lost most of what we had. It took years to recover. The same can happen in the church and I believe it is. The good thing is this plague left us with an unusually hardy and stronger seed for the following years.

Devo Final Day Revival
Haggai 1:2-11 (NIV) 2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’” 3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?” 5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” 7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord. 9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
Haggai 2:6-9 (NIV)
6 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. 8 ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. 9 ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
The Israelites were released from captivity in Babylon, where God had punished them 70 years for their backsliding. He moves on King Cyrus who He had told Israel 500 years would be born, become king and release them. He even called him by name. They came back to their land after repenting and making a promise to rebuild their relationship with God. They started rebuilding the temple, but soon became occupied with their own interests. They (after watching too much HGTV lol) began re-molding their own houses and forgot God and His house. He began punishing them again but sent Haggai to wake them up. It started a revival and they rebuilt the temple but not to its former standards. God did not care He was moved by their efforts and told them that the Glory of this house would be greater than anything that Israel had ever seen. God wants our hearts. He is sending a revival on the earth and is going to show His glory like never before. It is not a time to be busy with our own interests, but winning souls. Becky and I have started a new church, but it is to win souls all over the world. God told me my vision was too small, so we are looking to reach people through internet, TV, and any means possible. We need a little help. These people brought to God what they had, and he was moved and promised a revival that would touch the world and through this small beginning He birthed the church. The greatest of all revivals is about to begin. We want to be part of it and hope you will too. We are asking for a little help. Join us by sending a gift to help us get started. You will be able to get the services through internet. It won’t take a lot to do a lot. Please send your gift to Carpenter’s way church P.O. Box 23, Palm Harbor, FL, 34682. This is a 501 3C and if you are in the Dunedin, Florida area please come out and join us.
