Devo Messages of hope and a future Part 1
Psalm 91 New International Version (NIV) 1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
I feel very strongly that I need to take a break from my messages on the visions of the United States. Too much can be depressing, and I want you to see our future is glorious as Christians. Winston Churchill once said; “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” So true and well put.

Luke 21:8-19 New International Version (NIV) 8 He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.” 10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. 12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.
Isaiah 7:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 …, If you do not stand firm in your faith,
you will not stand at all.’”
It is translated nation will rise against nation, but it says in Greek ethnic group will rise ethnic group. This is already happening in our nation. The lies being put forth to are meant to divide us. It is a sign of what is to come. We see wars and we have had more wars than any nation on earth. Earthquakes, and soon to be famines in this our country. Persecution will soon break out against Christians and we will be blamed for the problems in our nation like Jews in Germany during WW2. They will put us in prison because we bear the name of Jesus. We will be betrayed by our own blood relatives them thinking they will save their own skin and wanting nothing to do with us. I see this already beginning. Now listen, only if you stand firm in your faith will you overcome. God will defend us and like Stephen. They will not be able to stand up against us. Unlike Stephen not a hair on our head will be perish. Listen, if you falter and try to save your life you will lose it. We will prosper, and they will hate us for it. This will happen before the Rapture. It will be difficult to stand your ground, but you must. It reminds me of Pastor Andrew in Turkey. They will have to let us go. There will be a distinction between the true man and woman of God and the rest of the world. Church organizations will think they are doing God a favor for betraying us. We will have to depend on the Holy Spirit to know who are our true brothers.

1 Kings 17:7-24 New International Version (NIV)
7 Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. 8 Then the word of the Lord came to him: 9 “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.” 10 So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?” 11 As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.” 12 “As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.” 13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’” 15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah. 17 Sometime later the son of the woman who owned the house became ill. He grew worse and worse, and finally stopped breathing. 18 She said to Elijah, “What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?” 19 “Give me your son,” Elijah replied. He took him from her arms, carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his bed. 20 Then he cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, have you brought tragedy even on this widow I am staying with, by causing her son to die?” 21 Then he stretched himself out on the boy three times and cried out to the Lord, “Lord my God, let this boy’s life return to him!” 22 The Lord heard Elijah’s cry, and the boy’s life returned to him, and he lived. 23 Elijah picked up the child and carried him down from the room into the house. He gave him to his mother and said, “Look, your son is alive!” 24 Then the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.”
I asked God why he just didn’t give this widow and her son all the food they needed at once. He spoke to me and said because if He had they would have come and taken it from them. You see as it was that they could not figure out where they were getting their food, so they left them alone. It will be like manna and we will have to trust God for our daily bread and it will build our faith and keep us from turning away from Him. It would also be like manna and if we would hoard it we would lose it. Furthermore he showed me that the healthcare industry would fall apart, and we would not have access to medical care. Like the widow we would have to turn to Him for our every need. While the world is struck by plagues because of malnutrition it would not strike His people. They would walk in health and they would hate us all the more.

1 Kings 17 New International Version (NIV)
17 Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” 2 Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: 3 “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
5 So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 New International Version (NIV)
9 For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mark 8:14-21 New International Version (NIV)
14 The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat. 15 “Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” 16 They discussed this with one another and said, “It is because we have no bread.” 17 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them: “Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”
“Twelve,” they replied. 20 “And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?” They answered, “Seven.” 21 He said to them, “Do you still not understand?”
God showed me a great famine hitting our land, but not at the hand of Satan, but the hand of God. He will send it to turn people back to Him. Then some will realize He is the God who supplies our needs and repent and others will grow harder and colder still. His people will not suffer His wrath but will walk by faith and He will provide for them, but now is the time to prepare Spiritually not in the storm. It will be a time of great chaos, so the man and woman of God must stay tuned into His Spirit. Don’t listen to the Pharisees but walk by the Spirit and God will provide you daily bread.

Genesis 41:25-36 New International Version (NIV)
25 Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do. 26 The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads of grain are seven years; it is one and the same dream. 27 The seven lean, ugly cows that came up afterward are seven years, and so are the seven worthless heads of grain scorched by the east wind: They are seven years of famine.
28 “It is just as I said to Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do. 29 Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the land of Egypt, 30 but seven years of famine will follow them. Then all the abundance in Egypt will be forgotten, and the famine will ravage the land. 31 The abundance in the land will not be remembered, because the famine that follows it will be so severe. 32 The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon.
33 “And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh appoint commissioners over the land to take a fifth of the harvest of Egypt during the seven years of abundance. 35 They should collect all the food of these good years that are coming and store up the grain under the authority of Pharaoh, to be kept in the cities for food. 36 This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine that will come upon Egypt, so that the country may not be ruined by the famine.”
That was then, this is now. God showed me that He would put President Trump in office before he ran and that e would win to the country’s surprise. He told me he was His man for the hour. He also showed me we would have a time of prosperity while he was in office and that people would fight him. This prosperity would be unequaled to anything we have seen before. Then overnight everything would change. The surplus would be ripped from our nation by another group and leader. All the plenty would be used up, spent and destroyed through pure foolishness. People would be dismayed as to what happened to the abundance and where it went so fast. Joseph was being prepared all his life for this moment and God raised him up to save people, but this will be a time more like Elijah being fed by the ravens not being fed because we stored things up. The church will have to stand by faith or not stand at all.
