Devo Are matches made in heaven Part 5
Psalm 139:13-18 (NIV)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand--
when I awake, I am still with you.
I read an article on DNA and marriage recently. I can’t remember what magazine it was in, but it simply said that people who we marry and the relationship last have very similar DNA to us. I guess it’s that rib thing. lol. It just seems to reason that if God was so careful to knit each of us together in our mother’s womb He was knitting someone together for us that would fit. He has a plan for you laid out follow it or go your own way. Let me know how that has been working for you. His ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. The word says he has so much more for you than you can think or imagine. Now I know what some of you are thinking, but pastor it’s too late for me. I think I married the wrong person or I destroyed my life. He’s God, He can make all things new again. People He can turn it all around you your good. Just repent, start walking in integrity from this day forward and seek Him. He will do the rest. It’s not by might,nor by power, but by His Spirit. It is grace grace.
