Devo Who’s in charge
Romans 12:3-5 (NIV) 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others
Romans 9:20-21 (NIV) 20 But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”[a] 21 Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?
God makes us into and calls us to what He see fit. Don’t get a big head or look down on yourself or others. Each of us has a calling in the body and each has a purpose to fulfill. Don’t covet another man’s calling or question God about yours. A square peg does not fit a round hole nor are we called to something we are not made for. Trust God and do not envy others. Be content with what God has called you to and do it with all your heart for Him. Let each man serve as he has been called and serve one another, then trust God. What we should want to hear is “well done thou good and faithful servant”.
