Devo More on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit Part 8
Genesis 1:27-29 (NIV)
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
God originally made us in His image then said be fruitful and multiply. Now we know we changed fathers and Satan became our father, but Jesus came and said we must be born again. Born of the water and the Spirit. Now look at all these principles going on here. Kind produces after kind. Plant a God seed be made in the image of God. Then we are to be fruitful and multiply. We have forgotten this principle. We are taught it is bad to multiply and have children, so the church is dying off. Have less offspring and we have more for ourselves right. Wrong. God never withdrew this command. A matter of fact He reiterates it throughout the Bible. The world teaches it is expensive to have offspring. It is a bad thing. Now I ask you where do you think we got that idea from? China found out that it cost them a great deal to stop having babies. It is destroying their country. Wake up. The Catholic church gets this. Find a healthy church and I will show you lots of babies. Come to one of our family events and I will show you lots of babies and Christians. We do in the Spirit what we live in the flesh and vice versa. Think about this. Wake up church. We need to win souls. We need to adopt people into the kingdom. They must be born again. Kind produces after kind. Sadly there are many who will just not get this. It’s one thing to hear God’s word. It is another to be quickened by the Spirit.
