Devo Prosperity Part 4
Psalm 18:25 (NIV)
25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
One day I asked God why He did these and so many other things for me? Why? I was no one special. I came from the mid-west. Middle of three children. I always said I was the well- balanced one. Ha ha. Dad was a computer programmer. We were a typical American family. Not rich, not poor. We went to church three times a week. Why me? My mother taught me something, always tithe and always be faithful. If the church doors were open you be there. I remember there was a six week revival at church. My mother worked a full time job and we were in school. Every night she would get us ready and we were in church. I only remember missing one night in all the revivals we had. It was a Tuesday and mom came home and said she was tired and could not go that night. My brother, sister and I were in panic. We were sure mom had backslidden and we were going to pray her back to Jesus. You see my mother was the most faithful person I knew. Not only in church, but in all she did, marriage, job, and everything. You could count on her and still can. Ask her pastor. She is there. This may be the most valuable thing she gave to us children. You see God rewards the faithful. They prosper. Never waver in well doing. Why did God save us from our mess we made? He told me simply you paid your tithe and were faithful in good time or bad. More to come.
