Devo Demons what do you know about them Part 10
Job 1:6-12 New International Version (NIV)
6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Job 2:3 New International Version (NIV) 3 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”
I love the Old Testament because you can see what’s going on in the spirit realm as we go through our everyday lives. Satan encourages God to allow him to touch Job even though Job is innocent of wrongdoing. God removes His hedge about Job and allows satan to test him. It seems unfair that God would allow such a thing and yet as Job finds out who are we to question God? What I hope would be true in my own life and yours is God would and could have full confidence in us that we would stand such a test. What a man of God Job was and God rewards Job for it. He was not only the richest man in the east but now has twice as much as before. God’s ways are not ours, but we must serve Him no matter what. See how satan and demons work always attacking the righteous and questioning the integrity of God’s children.

Matthew 12:22-29 New International Version (NIV)
22 Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see. 23 All the people were astonished and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”
24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons.”
25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26 If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27 And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29 “Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house.
Notice how demon possession made this man both blind and mute. Think about it. What I feel led to say today is if they could not drive out demons were they part of the Kingdom of God? I think not. Why would they drive out the very ones they serve?

2 Corinthians 11:1-4 New International Version (NIV)
11 I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness. Yes, please put up with me! 2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
False teachers coming as angels of light to deceive God’s people from the truth that was preached to them were being accepted by Paul followers because it was more pleasant to accept. I think of Daniel who would eat no pleasant bread as a reminder of where he had been and so he would not be deceived. Jesus is the bread of life and yet people are being deceived by pleasant bread. Following Christ is not always easy. You can’t eat worldly bread such as idleness, (it means, joblessness, slothfulness, redundancy), pleasant bread, but the bread of life. What you see in the flesh is what we are in the spirit. Sugary bread makes you sleepy and tired. Oh how satan wants to put us to sleep. How he wants us to take the easy road but it leads to destruction. I know I am about to make people mad at me for speaking the truth but this will set you free from bondage and the slavery of this world. It is so hard to pray for the healing of people on disability for example. They often have become captive to the system. They have become convinced that they cannot survive without (their disability). I am not at all being condemning. I too have had to be on disability for short periods of times. It is a compassionate system to help those in need that can’t help themselves. The problems comes when the opportunity comes that they may be set free they choose to stay in Egypt, in bondage, and not to cross the wilderness to God’s promise land. They become deceived to satan’s system of idleness. I am not saying disability is satan’s system but for some it becomes just that. They trust the government more than God to provide, therefore they do not want to be healed. How sad. Now if what I am saying upsets you and makes you angry then look in a mirror because it is you God is talking to. Jesus and the Apostles never gave money to the cripples but healed them. I often think about the man at the pool of Bethesda. There were many invalids but only one was healed that day. Why didn’t they asked Jesus to heal them too? Satan deceives and wants us to stay in bondage and he will pay you to do it. Not just bondage to pain and suffering but poverty too. Open your eyes that you might be set free from the deception of satan.

2 Corinthians 11:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
I am amazed that people don’t want to hear the truth anymore. They rather stick their head in a hole in the ground, ignore reality and live their little lives and just survive. We are in a spiritual war and ignoring it won’t make it go away. Since I started this teaching on demons, I have lost more subscribers than ever before to this blog. If I teach on faith, or prosperity they come to me by the droves, but on the things that have to do with warfare, suffering, or cost of following Christ they cover their ears and tune the Spirit of God out.
Satan or demons come as angels of light or Christ. They look like Him, feel like Him, taste like Him, smell like Him, and most of all sound like Him, but they are not. Even the very elect would be deceived if that were possible. Satan will transform into others to do his work. He can come through pastors, evangelist, prophets, sisters, brothers, moms, dads, neighbors, wives, husbands, and so on. He rarely comes as something evil or scary but as something that appears to be good, with his right is wrong and wrong is right philosophy. He comes through those who in the past may have been men and women of God. I have seen something change in the last few years faster than ever before and it is a depth of deception that is beyond what human words can describe. He is a deceiver and is leading the church away in the name of God and against God. Wake up oh sleeper! How do we know the difference? Glad you asked. Know the real thing and know who is not. Don’t waste your time on issues, for you will lose. Spend your time in prayer, the word, seeking Him, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and you will find Him and know Him. Then you will know who is not Him.

Luke 11:14-20 New International Version (NIV)
14 Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon left, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed. 15 But some of them said, “By Beelzebul, the prince of demons, he is driving out demons.” 16 Others tested him by asking for a sign from heaven.
17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebul. 19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
Strangely I could not find the word demon in the old testament but they are alluded to. Jesus drove out demons and we are to do the same. Jesus uses this to show he is who he says he is. Satan’s kingdom and God’s are black and white either your in one or the other. Jesus could drive out demons and the religious rulers could not. Think about that. Beelzebub or satan is their leader. Demons cause sickness. Many times satan and his demons deceive people by hiding behind medical terms making them think they need healed when they need delivered. Today’s society make us out to be cruel and ignorant because they give names and terms for condition which are non-other than demons.

Ezekiel 28:11-19 New International Version (NIV)
11 The word of the Lord came to me: 12 “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
every precious stone adorned you:
carnelian, chrysolite and emerald,
topaz, onyx and jasper,
lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl.[a]
Your settings and mountings[b] were made of gold;
on the day you were created they were prepared.
14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
15 You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
16 Through your widespread trade
you were filled with violence,
and you sinned.
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.
17 Your heart became proud
on account of your beauty,
and you corrupted your wisdom
because of your splendor.
So I threw you to the earth;
I made a spectacle of you before kings.
18 By your many sins and dishonest trade
you have desecrated your sanctuaries.
So I made a fire come out from you,
and it consumed you,
and I reduced you to ashes on the ground
in the sight of all who were watching.
19 All the nations who knew you
are appalled at you;
you have come to a horrible end
and will be no more.’”
I know this was written about the King of tire, but the king of Tire is satan. How do we know? This says he was in the garden of Eden, a guardian angel, he was in heaven and so forth. If you want to understand demons you must understand their master. Satan was the worship leader for God until he merchandised the worship for Himself. He wanted to be worshiped too. He was full of pride as a minister of music, had the gift of music. He was very beautiful and taken with his own beauty, proud, filled with violence, he has a corrupted wisdom, is dishonest, a thief, liar, deceiver and the father of rebellion. Now I ask you can you not see the tools of satan and demons? They deceive through music, beauty, wealth, pride, violence, corrupted wisdom, lies, stealing, all which lead to rebellion. We see every bit of this in the world today and our leaders.

Devo Demons, what do you know about them? Part 2
Revelation 12:4 New International Version (NIV)
4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born.
Luke 10:18 New International Version (NIV)
18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
Demons are fallen angels that followed satan when he was kicked out of heaven. He took them with him. They were part of the rebellion against God. Satan was an archangel like Michael and he had authority over a third of the angels.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
4 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
How much do you know about your enemy? Who are they? Where do they come from? Why are they bent on destroying me? How do I overcome them? I hope to cover and answer these questions and more.
Should you know your advisory? Yes, if you want to have a good life and ministry.
Satan is a liar and so are his followers. He is a deceiver and the truth is not in him. This is how his kingdom works. They slowly sear or harden the conscience of an individual or society. It is a process. He uses hate, hurts, education, bitterness, lies, sex, drugs, alcohol, relationships and anything to appeal to the flesh and pride of man. If you have abandoned the faith you too have been deceived by his schemes. His demons, familiar spirits, that know your family line and what you will fall to lay careful plans to deceive you into wondering from the faith. You have become a conduit for demons to do their work. We will look at that more later. Know your enemy and know his tactics. You need to also know your family line and their weaknesses, because they are yours too.
