Molded by God
Romans 8:29-30 New International Version (NIV)
29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
Hebrews 12:25-28 New International Version (NIV)
25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[a] 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,
Hebrews 2:10 New International Version (NIV)
10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
When we give our lives to God He has predestined us to become like Him. Jesus was human like us in every way, and in being so He had to be tempted and go through all we do. God trained His flesh through Christ's obedience to the Father, therefore becoming like the Father in every way and was made perfect. We go through the fire of God so we can go into the presence of God. Jesus is the perfecter of our faith. He makes our faith unshakable.
